Joan F. Stearns, 69, of Devlin Street, Cohoes died at Samaritan
Hospital, Troy on Thursday, July 2, 2009 after a long illness. She
was born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late
John and Albina Biette Murray. Mrs. Stearns was a home maker and a
former member of St. Patrick's Church, Cohoes. She is survived by
her husband, John I. Stearns, Jr. of Cohoes. Sister of Grace Hebert
(Leo) of Malta and George Murray of Cohoes, also survived by several
nieces and nephews. Funeral Sunday 3:00pm at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. John Lanese, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 3pm. |
