Cohoes- Colleen A. Magin Marcil, 70, of Cohoes passed away suddenly at St. Peter's Hospital on Monday, November 10, 2014 with her loving family by her side. Born in Albany, a graduate of Vincentian Institute and Albany Medical School of Nursing as an LPN. Daughter of the late Joseph and Marion Hourigan Magin and Dorothy Magin. A Volunteer for 20 years at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. An avid bowler, she enjoyed golf and pinochle. A Parishioner of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Marcil of Cohoes, her children, Karen (Doug) Mills of Niskayuna, Joe (Staci) Marcil of Cohoes, Kathy (Rich) Osterhout of Cohoes and Colleen (Dan) Marcil of Cohoes, grandmother of Shawn, Megan, Samantha, Richard, Patrick, Stephanie, Adam, Josh, HeidiLynn, (Nick) and (Heather) and great grandmother of Aiden and Ella. Sister of Maureen Weldon of Latham and the late Dennis Magin, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday 11:00am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. Interment Monday 11:00am at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y. Those who wish to remember Colleen in a special way may make a contribution to the Church of the Holy Trinity Organ Fund.
